Founded and built a global, multi-currency creator monetization platform using Rails 8, PostgreSQL, Redis, Turbo/Stimulus, and Tailwind; owned architecture, backend, frontend, infrastructure, security, payments, analytics, and integrations.
Built and secured approval for a Plaid integration to ingest transaction data and identify eligible purchases
Implemented a multi-currency Wise payment integration with OAuth, webhooks, encrypted credential storage, idempotent processing, and payment workflows.
Built and deployed an approved Shopify application using Next.js, TypeScript, and PostgreSQL for affiliate attribution, order lifecycle events, and real-time commission tracking.

Built and deployed an AI-native home-operations platform using Rails 8, PostgreSQL, Redis/Sidekiq, Active Storage/S3, Turbo/Stimulus, extraction/answering, and OpenAI transcription.
Built multimodal ingestion for OCR, document classification, structured extraction, receipts/manuals/warranties/policies, audio/video transcription, evidence indexing, and background-job orchestration.

Architected a hybrid ERP accounting and operations platform integrating legacy ERP data with Ruby on Rails/PostgreSQL, React + Chakra UI, and a third party ledger API for building service contractor companies managing 500+ cleaners and $20M+ in annual revenue.
Designed and built job-costed payroll with per-job labor tracking, real-time cost attribution, and a payroll-to-ledger pipeline
Increased financial-import throughput approximately 10x by introducing ledger transaction batching while preserving idempotency, unique external IDs, and double-entry validation.
Mentored two junior engineers in Rails.
Designed and implemented a canonical authorization system that replaced fragmented, override-based permissions with centralized Rails policies and React gating while maintaining sub-50ms authorization checks.

Led architecture for mission-critical billing and transaction systems supporting a logistics platform handling approximately $8B in shipping volume across UPS, FedEx, DHL, and other carriers.
Owned and extended EasyPost's transaction and delta-billing platform, including reusable carrier-invoice processing for continuously changing invoices.
Redesigned Rails billing architecture to integrate with Python carrier-invoice services while preserving correctness across downstream adjustments and reconciliation.
Developed high-throughput services, optimized MySQL database partitions, and migrated 15 services from a Rails monolith to Python/Flask microservices.
Designed and launched a QR-code endpoint generating 100K UPS return labels per day.
Led development of billing for in-house default UPS accounts for all EasyPost customers handling approximately $15M in annual shipping volume.

Founded and scaled a $5M/year ecommerce business and built the entire software platform end to end, including inventory, fulfillment, accounting, CRM, pricing, marketplace integrations, internal tools, and production DevOps.
Built automation across inventory, purchasing, pricing, warehouse operations, and reverse logistics, including workflows processing approximately 100 smartphones/day and real-time inventory synchronization across the company website, eBay, and Amazon.
Designed dynamic pricing, barcode/IMEI tracking, fraud detection, shipping, pick/pack, and warehouse automation while operating bare-metal Linux infrastructure at 99.9% uptime.
Built an automated auction-bidding system that analyzed vendor spreadsheets with roughly 30,000 line items to acquire the correct inventory mix the business needed each week.
Increased conversions 10-30% through A/B and multivariate testing, grew organic traffic to approximately 5,000 users/day, and led engineers and designers while managing a 10-person operations team.
